About Kapoor tulsi
Kapoor Tulsi belongs to the family of
Lamiaceae. Its scientific name is Ocimum Tenuiflorum. Kapoor Tulsi is native to
tropical and subtropical Asia. It is the short, annual, heavily flowered plant
that was originally introduced to the US as “Holy Basil” and it is the most
common type found in cultivation in the US. It is a perennial plant and can
grow between 12 to 24 inches tall as well. The leaves turn purple in colour in
case of Krishna Tulsi variant. It requires regular watering.
